Installation

Replacing or maintaining the excavator cab door of the excavator requires a standard and rigorous process. Here is the whole process from disassembly to debugging, as well as some key notes for you.

1. Door frame positioning: calibrate with a laser level meter to ensure that the level error is ≤1/1000, and reserve about 4mm installation gap.
2. Install the hinge: fix the upper hinge first, and then fix the lower end. Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the torque according to the manufacturer's regulations.
3. Install the seal: Use a special installer to fill the seam with 2-3mm sealant.

Operation

Excavator cab door operation and adjustment guide:

1. Daily operation: It should be smooth and free of jamming when opening and closing. If the door is hydraulic or pneumatic, make good use of the auxiliary function. Make sure that the door lock is clean and free of foreign objects before closing.
2. Gap and lock adjustment: When the door is not closed tightly or there is a strange sound, the position of the lock (Striker) of the door lock can be fine-tuned. First, loosen the locking bolt, fine-tune the position until the door closes tightly and opens and closes smoothly, and then tightens the bolt.
3. Door stop adjustment: Some models can adjust the compression of the door stop, please refer to the maintenance manual for details.
