Operating Principle

Excavator relief valve its core is pressure control. It is connected in parallel to the hydraulic pump outlet and controls the opening and closing of the valve mouth through the balance of internal spring force and hydraulic force:

1. Pressure retention (normal closure): When the system pressure is lower than the set value, the spring force presses the valve core on the valve seat, the oil line is closed, and the hydraulic oil flows to the executive element normally.
2. Overflow (on): When the pressure exceeds the set value, the liquid pressure overcomes the spring force to push the valve core, the oil line opens, and some high-pressure oil overflows back to the fuel tank. The pressure drops, and the valve core closes again
