Operating Principle

Excavator relief valve its core is pressure control. It is connected in series between the hydraulic pump outlet and the fuel tank, and controls the opening and closing of the valve mouth through the balance of internal spring force and liquid pressure:

1. During normal operation: the system pressure is lower than the set value, the spring force presses the valve core on the valve seat, the oil line is closed, and the oil flows to the actuator normally.
2. When overloaded: the system pressure exceeds the set value, the liquid pressure overcomes the spring force to push open the valve core, the oil line opens, and the high-pressure oil overflows back to the fuel tank. When the pressure drops, the valve core closes again under the action of the spring force.
