Case Excavator Solenoid Valve LL001140

LL001140 is a proportional solenoid valve coil for the main hydraulic pump control system on Sumitomo and CASE excavators. It converts ECM PWM signals into hydraulic pump displacement control. In Sumitomo excavators, it corresponds to fault codes 7002, 7040, and 7240; in CASE excavators, it corresponds to 602, 7022, and 0219. Fault symptoms primarily manifest as reduced hydraulic power, sluggish or erratic attachment response, and warning lamp illumination. Diagnosis focuses on coil resistance measurement (8–15 ohms), voltage supply verification, and harness inspection.

7002 Main Pump Solenoid Valve Circuit Malfunction (N1: GND short circuit / open circuit / power short circuit) ECM detects abnormal voltage or current in the proportional control solenoid circuit; coil resistance outside 8–12 ohms

7040 Hydraulic Pump Solenoid Valve Circuit Malfunction Short circuit or open circuit detected in the main pump control system; voltage outside 10–14V or coil resistance outside 8–15 ohms

7240 Boom-Up Solenoid Valve Circuit Malfunction Abnormal electrical current or open circuit in the proportional control valve system; coil resistance outside 8–12 ohms
